SMALL GROUPS

We believe authentic and meaningful faith is best lived out in a setting that fosters friendship and community.  Covenant's small groups are just those kind of settings.  Some groups meet on campus and some in homes but the unified goal is to help us all live out our faith with one another in a safe and proactive way.

Click on " Small Groups " to find a group to attend, start a group in your area or just get more information.

College and Young Adults

Being located in a college town allows Covenant the unique opportunity to minister to young adults, many of whom are living away from home for the first time. Information about our multiple campus ministry opportunities is available from Kyler Barr at kbarr@covenant-mail.com or 876-2212, x26.

Common Ground is featured on campus at Shepherd University on Wednesdays at 8:45 p.m. upstairs above the Rams Den. Common Ground meets while school is in session and breaks during the summer months. This informal high energy meeting is designed by our college students and features powerful music, challenging skits, multi-media, and dynamic messages on topics that affect college students.

We attempt to gain power and control of our otherwise unmanageable lives.  There are a multitude of habits, hurts, and hang-ups that we have and our recovery groups are intended to help you through these.  Some of the areas of recovery Celebrate Recovery programs have addressed in the past are:

Chemical addiction, grief, gambling, physical and emotional abuse, anger management, self esteem, finances, co-dependance and much more.

Friday night groups are available for both men and women.

For more information, you can contact us confidentially at recovery@covenant-mail.com or at 304-876-2212, x48.
