Psalm 51:10-12

10  Create in me a clean heart, O God,

and renew a right spirit within me.

11  Cast me not away from your presence,

and take not your Holy Spirit from me.

12  Restore to me the joy of your salvation,

and uphold me with a willing spirit.

How do you reset your relationship with God when you have done some things that have damaged it severely?

Verse 10 – “Create in me a clean heart, O God”
Big Idea:
God doesn’t just clean us up—He creates something new.

What do we try to do?

 What should we do?

Question to Ask:
What’s one area where you’ve been trying to fix yourself instead of letting God work?

Verse 11 – “Cast me not away… take not your Holy Spirit from me”

Big Idea: Sin damages closeness, not God’s love.

What do we try to do?

 What should we do?

Verse 12 – “Restore to me the joy of your salvation”

Big Idea: Sin steals joy—but God restores it.

What do we try to do?

 What should we do?

God doesn’t just forgive—He restores joy!
