Why Do We Share?

1. Jesus Invites Us to Share His Story

• Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” 

Application for Teens:

·        Talk about your faith with friends in natural conversations. 

·        Share your testimony on social media. 

·        Invite someone to youth group or church. 

Key Idea: You don’t have to be a preacher—just be willing to share your story.

2. Your Friends Need to Hear the Good News

·        Romans 10:14 – “How are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?” 

Application for Teens:

·        Pray for specific friends who don’t know Jesus. 

·        Look for opportunities to talk about faith during everyday moments. 

·        Be bold but respectful when sharing what you believe. 

Key Idea: You might be the only person who ever tells your friends about Jesus.

3. You Represent Jesus Every Day

·        2 Corinthians 5:20 – “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ…” 

Application for Teens:

·        Show kindness and integrity at school and online. 

·        Stand up for what is right, even when it’s unpopular. 

·        Let your actions match your faith. 

Key Idea: People learn about Jesus by watching how you live.

4. The Holy Spirit Gives You Courage and the Right Words

·        Acts 1:8 – “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses…” 

·        Luke 12:12 – “For the Holy Spirit will teach you what you ought to say.”
